Daffodil

Daffodil was paired with her suitor, Ochre, on the 10th of November 2023. Her first batch of babies dispersed on 14/12/23 and are currently between i5 and i7. They have already been allocated homes from the waiting list. Her second nest of babies dispersed recently too. To get on the waiting list for a Daffodil x Ochre baby, please contact us. Her third nest has moved in with Cosmic Creepers.

Phidippus regius (Marigold Legacy)

Pudding

Pudding is the daughter of the Bug Print legend, Marigold. Marigold was our founding line and we hope to continue it through Pudding. She is lighter than her mother with a very low amount of peach graduation and a high amount of white and grey. She has been paired with a Florida male with white lineage to hopefully strengthen those light-phase genetics. Pudding is on her third nest so far and we continue to care for the slings.

Phidippus ardens

Midnight

Midnight is half of a collaborative project with Cosmic Creepers. She was paired with Wang and the pairing was a great success. Their first nest of babies have just reached i4-i6 and they are doing well. We hope to have them available in very, very soon. Midnight laid her second egg sac and these were sent to Cosmic Creepers.

Datkney

Datkney is a gorgeous, dark phase Isla de Juventud Antile. We have never seen anything quite like her and she just had to make it into the breeding programme! She was paired at the end of December 2023. Her name was suggested by a customer as a play on words due to our other Isla being named Disney. Her first nest of babies was laid very recently and hatched a lovely number of babies.

Everly

Everly was paired on the 15th of November 2023 to Glade (get it?). She laid an egg sac on the 28th of November 2023. The egg sac didn't develop very well but she laid a subsequent one in January that has hatched lots of babies. She laid again in February but this egg sac is being sent to Pinsect.

Daphne

Daphne was paired on the 18th of November 2023 and laid a very large nest of eggs on the 1st of December 2023 and a subsequent one in January. We are hopeful the babies will progress well. She hatched a third that will be sent to Pinsect.

Lonzi

Lonzi is a very tangy lady who we paired with a Florida from a white lineage. She is a part of 'Project Pink' in an attempt to work out if pink morphs derive from orange morphs. Lonzi laid an egg sac on the 18th of November 2023. Her egg sac sadly wasn't very good. She laid another at the end of December that has hatched really nicely. Her third followed in January and was sent over to Charlotte's Webs.

Pinky Pie

Pinky Pie is a part of 'Project Pink'. It is no secret that Sho adores the colour pink and this doesn't stop at jumping spiders. Pinky Pie was paired on the 15th of November 2023 with a robust male from white lines. We were very happy to find eggs in the nest on the 27th of November 2023 but it simply wasn't meant to be. Her nest dried up. She has since laid another egg sac that has since dispersed a whopping 80+ slings. We are excited to have them available in the future. Another egg sac soon followed that looks equally bursting.

Disney

Disney is so named due to the Minnie Mouse shape on her abdomen. It's very unusual and makes her a unique female in the breeding room. She was paired and it appears to have been a success with some movement seen in the egg sac. Her second egg sac was a success and hatched a small number of offspring. These are being sent to Pinsect to continue their development.

Glitch

Unfortunately, Glitch passed away in early April 2024. She will be dearly missed.

Ruby 

Ruby 2.0 is named after her mother, Ruby. She is a product of a collaboration between Cosmic Creepers and ourselves. This collaboration is very dear to us as it sparked a solid friendship. It feels right to continue the lines. Ruby 2.0 was paired and laid a lovely mound of babies that is about to disperse any day.

Five

As you can probably guess, we really like Phidippus ardens here at Bug Print. Five is the third female of our trio and she was paired very recently. We are hoping to get the ardens lines going in captivity and are super passionate about this project. Five laid a very healthy egg sac that has dispersed 40+ slings who are all doing well. She laid a second egg sac that was sent to Cosmic Creepers to continue their development.
